There are some new updates on the website, we have just added our Field
Day 2007 pictures and updated the Past Documents
page. The wireless internet hardware has been re-located into the shelter
to provide better lightning protection. We are hoping to restart the Spritzer
Newsletter, it will be available through email and the website. - Kurt N3TUQ

There has been a few changes to the website, if you see any problems please
let me know. There are new pictures added to
the Club Site page and coverage maps were also added on the Our Repeaters page for
145.390 and 449.025. We have acquired high powered wireless internet amplifiers
and the internet to the Clubsite and Cabin has been working great. The speed
is currently running at about 3.5 Megabit. There is currently a problem with
the computer at the clubsite which is causing problems with the camera software.
There is also a camera at the Cabin and a link for it on the front page of this
site. For field day we have added 40 and 20 meter dipole antennas and they
are still there for anyone to use. - Kurt N3TUQ |

The website has been partially remodeled, I will try
to have everything up and running correctly soon. We have added a military
communications trailer to the site which now houses all of the club repeaters.
A new folder over / crank up tower was installed in the summer of 2005, this tower
holds the 432/144/50 MHz yagi antennas. I hole has been partially dug for
the new HF contesting tower, we are hoping to have this project finished before
Field Day of 2006. An internet camera has been setup at the club site and
can be seen via the link on the front page of the website. - Kurt N3TUQ |

LRTS has received a 240' PIrod tower donated by Hall Communications. We are
picking it up today and storing it until installation at the LRTS site is made.
We need your help, whether financially, manpower, equipment wise, or any other way
you can help, to make the tower project a success. |

LRTS now has a high-speed 800/800 internet connection at our Cornwall clubsite.
The internet connection comes from N3UED's cable modem in Manheim, and is transported
using our 11mb/sec wireless local area network (WLAN) running on 2.4ghz data radios
through parabolic dishes. The connection ties in to our wireless network inside
the building, and wired network. This enables us to monitor our multiple security
cameras remotely and use the internet for other activities. |
